The Faces Behind the Batter

Batta was founded by Maya and Peyton: two friends with corporate backgrounds and very strong opinions about cake. Maya is a chocoholic strategist and resident creative. Peyton is the all-natural food guru making sure the ingredients (and finances) hold up.

They started their careers at an investment bank and a Big Four accounting firm, where they learned how to spot inefficiencies, ask uncomfortable questions, and fix things that weren’t working. They turned that skillset toward the baking aisle.

Together, they set out to make cake mixes taste better, look better, and show up ready to celebrate. They love good wine, great food, and any excuse to bake.
